SAIL partnered with Travel Marquette to review over 100 local restaurants, recreation facilities, hotels and more for handicap accessibility, and new co-branded stickers will soon be added on doors—details like doorway measurements, parking spaces, ramps and elevators are in the updated Guide to Access.

Vickie Micheau—executive director of the Delta County Chamber of Commerce—has been elected President of the Board of Directors for the Michigan Association of Fairs and Exhibitions, a role that will let her shape fair policies across the state.

Representatives from Marquette Sawyer Regional Airport and Lake Superior Community Partnership celebrated the expansion on Tuesday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony—adding 65 new seats after shifting the security checkpoint for more space.
