Friends of Peter White Library are holding a used book and media sale in the community room of Peter White Public Library to raise money for library programs and book collections.

The sale runs today from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.—with a $5 bag sale from 1:45 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The West End Youth Center is hosting a rummage sale today at the Gossard Building second floor from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.—all funds raised will support a new youth complex developed with 4-H and the Boys and Girls Club for countywide programs and activities.

United Way of Marquette County announced a new initiative partnering with DoorDash, United Way Worldwide, Huntington Bank and the Michigan Community Service Commission to deliver food and supplies from local pantries to residents facing transportation challenges—Andrew Rickauer said the program is part of a national campaign to combat hunger. The service will help community members without direct access to food pantries receive essential supplies.
