After years of planning and months of construction, the Shiras Planetarium at Marquette Senior High School completed a major renovation with new Zeiss projection technology, upgraded seating, improved lighting and a new sound system.

The planetarium now invites the community to shape its future through training, content creation and educational programs and has launched the Adopt a Shiras Star fundraising campaign to cover the remaining balance of $235,000.
