- ➤ On Saturday afternoon, cheese fanatics raced down Marquette Mountain in the second annual Cheese Roll while chasing a fake wheel of cheese with the top prize being a Rutland Red Leicester cheese wheel valued at a couple hundred dollars—participants of all ages joined the event inspired by a famous English tradition. - ➤ UPAWS celebrated 50 years on Sunday in Sands Township by hosting an open house that allowed local residents to tour the upgraded shelter facility—featuring heated floors and a modern HVAC system—and meet animals available for adoption with free adoptions offered this month.
