- ➤ On Sunday, MoxieMoms held its first golf scramble at Gentz’s Homestead Golf Course in Chocolay Township to support grieving parents and acknowledge fathers often left out of the grief cycle — all proceeds will fund the nonprofit’s community programs for infant loss. Upper Michigan's Source
- ➤ Marquette Maritime Museum will hold its annual Ghosts of Lighthouse Point fundraiser from October 9 to 11 to support both the museum and the Northern Michigan University Food Bank. Admission requires a ticket — and a canned good for donation. The Mining Journal
