- ➤ On Saturday, fire and rescue departments from across the county joined forces to hold Fire Prevention Week at Harlow Park, where they taught safe ways to dispose of lithium-ion batteries and reminded families to check smoke alarms. - ➤ At the Marquette Regional History Center, the fourth biennial Lake Superior Fiber Festival gathered local weavers, knitters, and quilters on Saturday—creatives showcased quilts, shawls, and stuffed animals, and the event awarded 44 raffle prizes.
