- ➤ Marquette County Habitat for Humanity is hosting a square dancing fundraiser today at Willow Farm in Harvey from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. — The event features music by the Feltliners, a cash bar, two food trucks, a line dancing showcase and auction items with tickets available at the Habitat office or Habitat ReStore. - ➤ Jeffrey's Restaurant in Marquette celebrated its one-year anniversary after a fire by holding a community event on Friday — giving out prizes like shirts and mugs — to thank local supporters and mark a milestone as the business looked forward to winter. - ➤ Marquette County Solid Waste Management Authority safely collected household hazardous waste such as batteries, pesticides, motor oil, antifreeze and aerosol cans with paint on Thursday from residents in the area.
