  • Collectors gathered at River Rock Lanes in Ishpeming on Saturday to trade Pokémon, baseball, and other cards—organizer Brett Argall said the event revived a long-missing local tradition and will become a regular gathering in Marquette County’s west end.  Upper Michigan's Source

SPORTS NEWS

  • Lakeview Arena hosted the Marquette Roller Derby Mini Tournament Saturday, where teams from across Michigan competed in the Marquette team's only home bout this season—each game featuring one jammer who raced around the track to score points while teammates blocked opponents. The contest highlighted the fast-growing sport and brought a special event to the local community.  Upper Michigan's Source
