- ➤ Hope Church in Marquette organized a drive to collect school supplies—pencils, crayons, notebooks, and backpacks—for local families as school begins across the U.P., with items available on a first-come, first-served basis. WZMQ 19

- ➤ The Superior Watershed Partnership is using a solar-powered robot called BeBot to clean Lake Superior beaches as it moves from Petoskey to coastal spots in the Upper Peninsula.
