Forgotten Eagles hosted their 22nd annual Ride Around Michigan, a multi-day charity ride benefiting veterans including those from Michigan Veteran Homes D.J.

Jacobetti. They stopped at VVA Ch. 380 for lunch + donated $5,000 to support veteran programs.

Marquette Kids Club partnered with Ainsley’s Halo (in memory of Ainsley Kargela) to hold a lemonade stand at the corner of Ridge Street and Front Street in Marquette, raising funds for cancer research and teaching business skills.

The group will host a hockey tournament on Sept. 17-18 at Lakeview Arena.

The Richmond Township Fire Department received a new custom fire truck from Spencer Fire Trucks in mid-July to replace an over 30-year-old unit.
