🎭 Culture
Ishpeming hosted the 24th annual Buzz the Gut show and shine today at the Cliffs Shaft Mine Museum, drawing hundreds of car fans.
The event ran from 4 to 7 and included a 7 parade and an 8 dance at the local Elks (with the Swamberry Moonshine Band playing).
🎓 Education
Start the Cycle, a local cycling program, trains youth in mountain biking and life lessons through 20 practice sessions and today’s Ore to Shore race.
Kids build confidence and teamwork as they earn a bright yellow jersey symbolizing support from 160 mentors, according to Executive Director Laura Macdonald.
