Sands Speedway held its annual Kids Day on Sunday where young fans met race car drivers and got autographs, and took part in a bucket-raffle and bike giveaway.
The event encouraged fans to join pit activities and discover more about racing.
🏥 Health
UP CityServe Health Fair took place Saturday in Marquette and drew hundreds who joined in a cornhole tournament, health screening and a Veterans Fishing Day.
Local organizers provided food, water and supplies in an evening of community care until 8 p.m.
Central Upper Peninsula CISM held its 3rd Annual Donut Dash on Sunday in Marquette to raise funds for first responders' mental health support.
About 160 runners and walkers participated, helping cover therapy co-pays and residential treatment programs (a key step toward reducing stigma).
