- ➤ Powell Township will host its 31st annual Fire on the Bay event this Saturday in Big Bay where the Marquette band Ramble Tamble will perform at the beach pavilion next to Burns Landing Historic Park and fireworks will light up after the show. - ➤ The Marquette Junior Yacht Club held its first youth sailing lesson of the summer on Monday at Lower Harbor where young skippers learned about boat anatomy and water safety. - ➤ LSCP will host its Breakfast and Business meeting at the Holiday Inn in Marquette on July 18 with a breakfast buffet at 7:30 a.m. and a panel discussion at 8:00 a.m., while registration costs are $25 for LSCP partners + $35 for non-partners and several local nonprofit leaders will speak.
