On July 3, the Mellon Veterans Outreach Campus hosted the America 250 Celebration featuring motorcycles, live music, veteran recognition, food and family activities to support veterans and first responders; the event ran from 2 p.m. until dark at 2142 Freeport Road (local residents attended in strong support).
