Fresh Coast Light Lab held a two-hour laser show at Lower Harbor Ore Dock on Thursday; tonight a 20-minute display with a 15-second countdown will light up the dock + a special America 250 show is scheduled for tomorrow.

AAA has launched Tow to Go for Independence Day weekend to help drivers who are too inebriated to drive get home safely.

The confidential program runs from 6 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday and is open to both members and non-members in Marquette.

The Ore Dock Brewing Co. hosted the second Lullaby Project event on Thursday in partnership with the Women’s Center.

Marquette's 44th annual Freedom Fest launches today at Lower Harbor Park to mark 250 years of independence, featuring nearly 20 live music shows, eating contests, bounce houses and food and craft vendors.

Today, Michigan’s gasoline prices increased 9.4 cents to average $4.06 per gallon — prices remain 82 cents above last year’s levels and 34.5 cents below last month’s, with the survey covering 4,913 stations.

Northern Michigan University men's soccer announced a 16-player recruiting class — including 9 freshmen and 7 transfers from Michigan, Wisconsin, Illinois and Idaho and international athletes from England, Spain, Wales, Germany, Netherlands and Canada — and will begin pre-season exhibitions on Aug. 13 at home before a challenging schedule.
