Members of the Great Lakes Regional Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) rode through Marquette for the first time in 10 years while raising money for Trillium House and sharing community fun.

They began at Northern Michigan University’s Berry Events Center and were escorted by police (to keep the ride safe) through the streets to the Marquette Holiday Inn.

The USGS and state geological surveys began low-level flights over Michigan’s Upper Peninsula and northern Wisconsin before today using airborne geophysical technology to map critical mineral resources needed for the U.S. economy and national security — most surveys will finish by late fall although some may continue next year.

NMU Wildcat Football Club hosted an alumni golf outing at Marquette Golf Club’s Heritage Course to bring together past players and fans.

Football legend Steve Mariucci sent the golfers off before the shotgun start — the event aimed to grow the football program.
