Little Trout Lake Park reopened this afternoon (funded by a Michigan DNR SPARK Grant) after major renovations.

The park now features a lake-top pavilion, pickleball and volleyball courts, a youth play area, accessible paths and live events including a five-K fun run, making it a community wellness hub.

Thousands attended UP Rainbow Pride Fest today at Mattson Lower Harbor Park where food vendors + live music created a festive atmosphere that celebrated eleven years of community pride.

Snowberry Heights residents held a pet parade Saturday in Marquette where dogs showed off festive costumes and enjoyed treats along the sidewalk.

The event gave pet lovers a chance to share in the community spirit.
