Car enthusiasts gathered Saturday at the Marquette Armory parking lot for the first summer Cars and Coffee meetup, where trucks, motorcycles, and a mini truck were on display.

The group meets monthly to check out a variety of vehicles and enjoy coffee — inviting locals to join future events.

Alpha Michigan Brewing Company in the smallest village in America celebrated its seventh anniversary this weekend and will be open from noon to 9 p.m. through Memorial Day; One Human Band played on Saturday and The Make-Believe Spurs will perform today from 3 to 6 p.m. along with food, discounted merchandise, and special offers while owner Mike Bjork said the brewery has donated over $150,000 to the community.

UP Brewing Company is hosting its second annual Pints and Petals event—featuring vendors, live music and the debut of a new beer.

The event also promotes local gardening and sustainable food practices for the community.
