- ➤ MARESA held its 8th annual Sharing Nature with Children event on Saturday at Lakenenland Sculpture Park, where kids enjoyed fishing and seed planting to boost creative play and social skills. Upper Michigan's Source
- ➤ Residents picked up free fruit and nut trees at Partridge Creek Community Farm as the Ishpeming Lions Club hosted its second annual giveaway, featuring a live planting demo plus materials, including compost, to help families grow produce at home. WZMQ 19
- ➤ Last Saturday, about 200 participants attended the 3rd annual Gabe Richtig Memorial Mud Run in Amasa to honor Gabe's memory. The event raised funds for a $2,000 scholarship while celebrating a local tradition that has brought the community together for over 23 years. Upper Michigan's Source
