- ➤ 906 Adventure Team is launching its fundraising campaign to build Gluski Park as a community trailhead and outdoor recreation space adjacent to Basecamp on Lakeshore Boulevard in Marquette. The event kicks off Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Basecamp, where visitors can tour the property and hear from kids in the Adventure Team. Sunny 101.9
- ➤ Ishpeming Lions Club and Partridge Creek Farm are hosting a second annual tree giveaway this weekend at the Partridge Creek Community Farm Site from 1 to 3 p.m., with over 120 fruit and nut trees, chicken wire provided, and a tree care lesson offered to help address food insecurity. - ➤ WLUC-TV earned two Michigan Emmy Award nominations for a historical documentary and a military feature honoring U.P. Women of Valor Honor Flight. - ➤ The Lake Superior Art Association celebrated 75 years at the Marquette Regional History Center Wednesday night by showcasing art from the past seven decades.
