About 50 volunteers cleaned the new Township Trailhead off Grove St. in Marquette Township Saturday, May 10th, working on trail maintenance, landscaping, and a kids skill track—an effort led by the Noquemanon Trail Network to improve local trails.

On Saturday morning, MoxieMoms hosted Little Angels Memorial Walks in Marquette and Gladstone to let grieving families honor babies who died too soon — participants from nearby areas including Iron Mountain and Wisconsin gathered to support one another.

The Dead Carp races, held Friday night and Saturday morning, featured a 20K, 5K and one-mile kids race that drew around 80 and more than 150 runners who supported Camp UPeninsulin for kids with Type 1 diabetes + runners now look ahead to the upcoming Queen City Half Marathon at the end of July.
