NMU hosted a Holi festival Saturday where students and community members played with colored powder to celebrate the holiday’s message of good over evil and unity (organized by Emera Bridger Wilson to build community ties) on campus.
Ore Dock Brewing Company held its 12th Festival of the Angry Bear on Saturday as locals ran a costumed 5k run and enjoyed keg bowling & nonalcoholic craft sodas made with Girly Pop.
The festival united the community as it welcomed spring after a harsh winter.
Prospective buyers toured 27 luxury units during an open house at The Residences at North Harbor on Saturday; the 99 percent-complete building offers upgrade options & scenic views with water managed by the homeowners' association, while construction on additional units will begin once sales gain momentum.
