- ➤ Gas prices in Michigan hold steady at an average of $3.04 per gallon for regular unleaded gas—3 cents lower than last month and 55 cents lower than last year. - ➤ A portion of Peter White Drive on Presque Isle is closed to car and bike traffic to allow the blue spotted salamander migration that began Monday night. Volunteers from the Superior Watershed Partnership—along with city staff and NMU students—will manage the road until May 15 and record observations of the crossing salamanders.
