- ➤ The Marquette Guts Frisbee Association held a one-day tournament at NMU’s Superior Dome yesterday with 120 players on 21 teams—spectators brought three canned goods for admission—and donations went to the Salvation Army. Upper Michigan's Source
- ➤ More than 100 costumed participants plunged into freezing water on Saturday to raise money for Special Olympics Michigan. The event raised about $22,000 + donations are still accepted as organizers aim to reach a $28,000 goal. Upper Michigan's Source

- ➤ At the NCAA Championships on March 15, NMU swimmer Camilla Carbone finished eighth in the 100 backstroke final and earned a First Team All-American honor—one of three All-American awards for the team. WZMQ 19
- ➤ The NMU men’s 200 freestyle relay team earned a silver medal at the NCAA Championships after Leo Nolles delivered a fast anchor leg—finishing just 0.03 seconds behind Grand Valley State. Wyatt Dickman also garnered attention by finishing 12th in the 100 breaststroke, earning a consolation final spot and second team All-America honors. WZMQ 19
- ➤ After losing in the GLIAC Tournament Semifinals, Michigan Tech avenged the defeat in an NCAA Tournament opener by beating NMU 87–72 on Saturday at the Recreation and Athletic Center with Calcaterra and Tomashek each scoring 22 points.
