- ➤ With spring arriving, DNR advises Marquette residents to remove bird feeders, clean grills, and secure trash to deter bears as they emerge from dens with new cubs (bears can smell food from a mile away). The Mining Journal

- ➤ Housing Now is offering free downloadable home pattern books to help residents skip costly early design steps, plus local planners say the tool may speed up construction and ease the area’s housing shortage.
