Northern Michigan University's Wildcats enjoyed a big night on Friday as forward Dylan Kuehl earned GLIAC Player and Defensive Player of the Year honors and coach Matt Majkrzak won Coach of the Year (his second), capping off a record 27-5 season and co-championship with Michigan Tech.
No. 20 Michigan Tech beat Bowling Green 3-2 Saturday at John MacInnes Student Ice Arena to sweep the quarterfinal series and advance to the CCHA semifinals.
