- ➤ A vigil was held at Texas Roadhouse to honor missing NMU student Trenton Massey, who went missing last week, and hundreds of community members gathered as police ended the official search today and ask anyone with information to come forward. WZMQ 19

- ➤ Marquette Regional History Center offers free digital scans of Barnes-Hecker Mine Disaster archives to preserve local history. The events run Saturday, Mar. 7, Friday, Mar. 13 and Wednesday, Mar. 25 at local sites with scheduled appointments. Upper Michigan's Source

- ➤ PEAK, a professional conference hosted at NMU’s SISU Innovation Institute, will take place on March 26 and 27 to offer Marquette professionals, students and lifelong learners valuable networking and skill-building opportunities. - ➤ U.P. Home Health & Hospice earned its third star in the We Honor Veterans program, a national effort to boost veteran-focused hospice and home health care in Marquette. - ➤ Lions Clubs partnered with Super One stores to raise nearly $7,300 to help families cover travel, food, and lodging expenses for children receiving cancer care in the U.P. The Negaunee Lions Club contributed almost $1,700 as part of this second annual effort. Upper Michigan's Source
- ➤ On Monday in Escanaba, officials announced that RxKids is expanding to the entire U.P. to offer debt-free financial aid for pregnant women and new parents with no income requirement. Families can enroll from 16+ weeks pregnancy until six months after birth, receiving up to $4,500 + support to ease early parenthood. The Mining Journal
