NHS has named the first semester honor roll at Negaunee High School for the 2025-26 school year.
The roll lists students in grades 9 to 12 who earned all As (with grade distinctions) in recognition of their academic excellence.
Superiorland Ski Team, coached by Dave Slette, repeated as state champions by winning the Michigan Junior Nordic Championship on Saturday, Feb.
28 in Traverse City – they also earned titles in the boys Sprint and Pursuit events, marking their second consecutive win.
Young lugers from across the Midwest competed in the Junior Midwest Luge Championships in Negaunee this past weekend, with top athletes including Brock Bartol of the U.S. Luge Team.
