Mushers and their dogs completed the 228-mile UP200 race last Sunday in Chocolay Township, where first-place winner Ryan Anderson and runner-up Erin Aili said clean, hard trails helped the dogs perform well despite warmer weather.
North American Luge Championships returned to Lucy Hill on Sunday when 11 athletes raced on North America's only Alpine luge track in Negaunee — athlete Henry Anderson said softer ice offered a valuable learning experience.
