- ➤ Brian and Molly Wallen will perform a family-friendly concert at the Peter White Public Library Community Room in Marquette on Tuesday from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Their set will feature close-knit harmonies, storytelling and inspiration. The Mining Journal
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Michigan aims for 100% clean energy by 2040 — experts say funding cuts, project delays and the loss of federal tax credits may slow progress. Utilities are expected to file integrated resource plans soon to clarify future plans. The Mining Journal
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Gov. Whitmer and Lt. Gov. Gilchrist issued a proclamation today recognizing February as Black History Month in Michigan to honor Black Americans' cultural, historical, and economic contributions statewide (officials said the month invites reflection on shared history and a commitment to equal rights). - ➤ Dr. Wes Youngberg, a clinical nutritionist, will present Diabetes Undone at Marquette Seventh-day Adventist Church (270 E.
